The Piano Performance Course at ReHearsal House is designed for aspiring pianists, piano-music educators, worship musicians and performers. The course serves as a foundation for idealistic piano composers; It offers a structured, skill-level-based progression across various durations, focusing on both technical proficiency and expressive artistry.

Available in:

- 18 Months Diploma (4 Skill Levels)

- 2 Years House-University Diploma (6 Skill Levels)

- 3 Years House-University Diploma (9 Skill Levels)

Skill Level Breakdown:

Level 1 – Foundational:  

Introduction to piano technique, finger positioning, note reading, rhythm, basic songs on all Keys, and simple sight-reading. Suitable for total beginners.

Level 2 – Beginner:

Focus on hand coordination, scales, chords on all Keys, and ear training. Students begin simple solo and duet repertoire, basic music theory, and rhythm exercises.

Level 3 – Advanced Beginner: 

Development of fluid hand movements, dynamic control, sight-reading of simple sheet music, and introduction to improvisation. Includes elementary classical and contemporary pieces.

Level 4 – Early Intermediate:

Expanded repertoire including classical, gospel, and contemporary genres. Focus on articulation, phrasing, and two-hand independence. Students begin playing in ensembles.

Level 5 – Intermediate (Internship Phase):

Application in real settings such as live rehearsals, studio work, and stage performance. Students begin minor compositions and arrangement tasks.

Level 6 – Upper Intermediate: 

Focus on expressive playing, accompaniment skills, interpretation, and stylistic versatility. Students explore Jazz, Neo-Soul, and Worship Piano.

Level 7 – Transition Phase I (Advanced):

Solo performance training, advanced sight-reading, improvisation, and music directing. Students begin preparing full-length recital pieces.

Level 8 – Transition Phase II: 

Studio and live performance integration. Students take on lead roles in ensembles and projects. Includes minimal vocal accompaniment skills.

Level 9 – Final Phase & Certification:  

Capstone project preparation, final performance, portfolio presentation, and professional readiness review.
