Skill Level Breakdown:
• Level 1 – Foundational:
Introduction to piano technique, finger positioning, note reading, rhythm, basic songs on all Keys, and simple sight-reading. Suitable for total beginners.
• Level 2 – Beginner:
Focus on hand coordination, scales, chords on all Keys, and ear training. Students begin simple solo and duet repertoire, basic music theory, and rhythm exercises.
• Level 3 – Advanced Beginner:
Development of fluid hand movements, dynamic control, sight-reading of simple sheet music, and introduction to improvisation. Includes elementary classical and contemporary pieces.
• Level 4 – Early Intermediate:
Expanded repertoire including classical, gospel, and contemporary genres. Focus on articulation, phrasing, and two-hand independence. Students begin playing in ensembles.
• Level 5 – Intermediate (Internship Phase):
Application in real settings such as live rehearsals, studio work, and stage performance. Students begin minor compositions and arrangement tasks.
