PIANOFORTE FINGERING TRAINING TECHNIQUES PROGRAM 1(PNO 100) LESSON OVERVIEW Hello, welcome to the pianoforte fingering training course, PNO 100. This program is designed for beginner pianoforte students, the course and program outline which follows is a product of the ReHearsal House NG department of piano performance and keyboards. PNO 100 is a core course for the RH program 1 piano performance/keyboard students. The course is a twelve week, beginner experience in pianoforte fingering drills, exercises and techniques. PNO 100 covers areas such as pianoforte postures, hands placement and finger positioning in the first two weeks of class lessons, alongside other areas including the RH terminologies for fingering exercises and the kinds of and applications of musical note values.
