ReHearsal House Nigeria Ltd. is a musical education, vocational musicianship, performance, artistry and creative development institution built around a simple conviction:
Music should be worthy of the lives we live—and musicians should be prepared not only to learn music, but to live, create, perform and work through it.
ReHearsal House brings together music education, practical musicianship, performance, artist development, music production, music business, publishing and creative enterprise within one developing musical ecosystem.

THE HOUSE
The ReHearsal House ecosystem begins with musical formation in childhood and continues through structured musicianship, vocational training, artistry and professional creative practice.
Our educational pathway includes the ReHearsal House Childhood Musicals Academy, with programmes spanning:

The pathway continues into the:
House Institute of Vocational Musicianship
where students pursue structured professional musical development through 18-month, 2-year and 3-year programme pathways, with appropriate Full-Time, Weekend and Evening study options.
Together, these programmes form a continuing musical development pathway rather than isolated courses of study.
MUSIC FROM THE BEGINNING
At ReHearsal House, musical development is not designed around the idea that a student must first spend years in a classroom before becoming a musician.
From inception, students are engaged.
They learn.
They practise.

They collaborate.

They develop repertoire.
They participate in ensembles and bands.
They encounter real musical responsibilities.
As their competence grows, they can progress into increasingly meaningful areas of performance, production, teaching, artistry and music-business practice.
This is our understanding of Vocational Musicianship.
The student does not wait until graduation to begin becoming a musician.
THE HOUSE SYSTEM
Within Childhood Musicals, students belong to one of four musical Houses:
House Allegro
House Arpeggio
House Crescendo
House Legato
The Houses provide a smaller developmental unit within the larger learning environment.
As classes grow, the House system helps ensure that students remain seen, known, guided and directly observed.
House Masters and Managers provide an additional layer of musical and developmental oversight, while the Houses create opportunities for friendship, leadership, teamwork, responsibility and healthy competition.
Throughout the year, the Houses participate in the Musicians Championship League, with preparation and competition phases leading into major musical seasons including April Musicals, August Musicals and Yuletide Musicals.
The House system also provides a natural environment for identifying developing musical abilities and nurturing future performers, ensemble members and artists.
PERFORMANCE IS PART OF THE EDUCATION
At ReHearsal House, performance is not simply an end-of-term presentation.
Performance is part of the learning process.
Students are progressively prepared to rehearse, perform, collaborate, respond to musical direction, present themselves before an audience and learn from performance.
Recitals therefore form an important part of the ReHearsal House experience.
They provide opportunities for students to demonstrate developing musicianship, present repertoire, gain performance experience and receive meaningful evaluation.
Our developing musical ecosystem also includes bands, choirs and ensembles serving different stages of musical development.
These include groups such as:
First Overtone
Third Tone Avenue
Fourth Augmentation
HARMONIX
BREFOS
with additional ensembles, orchestral formations and other performance platforms developing as the House grows.
Students from different divisions can encounter one another through collaborative musical practice, creating a pathway from early musical participation into increasingly mature musicianship and artistry.
APPLIED ASSESSMENT & MUSICAL PROGRESSION
Musical development at ReHearsal House is supported by structured practical assessment, performance and progression.
Students are expected not only to learn musical concepts but to demonstrate what they have learned through practical musical application.
The Test of Applied Music (TAM), Recitals, skill-level assessments and other institutional assessments form part of the learner's musical journey.
All assessment and institutional certification within the ReHearsal House educational system is administered through the ReHearsal House Applied Music Certification Board (RHAMCB).
RHAMCB provides the internal framework through which musical competence, practical application and progression are assessed across the House's educational programmes.
Our assessment philosophy is simple:
What a musician knows should ultimately become something the musician can do.
THE HOUSE INSTITUTE OF VOCATIONAL MUSICIANSHIP
The House Institute is the professional vocational arm of the ReHearsal House educational ecosystem.
Its purpose is not simply to provide advanced music lessons.
It is designed to develop working musicians, performing artists, music educators, producers, directors, creators and music-industry practitioners.
