Why “House Programs”?
Because every course, curriculum, lesson, and illustration is developed in-house, from start to finish. Our programs are 100% home-grown—true ReHearsal House creations. With a strong focus on research, we separate fact from fiction to equip our students with real-world, practical, and transformative musical skills.
House-University Skill-Level Programs are divided into two categories:
Two-Year Programs – carefully structured to develop foundational and intermediate musical skills, guiding students to achieve a House-University Skill Level equivalent to a university standard. These programs provide a solid, performance-oriented base across keys, strings, woodwinds, percussion, vocals, and music business departments.
Three-Year Programs – Advanced programs, including Orchestration, Theatrical Musicals & Film Scoring, Therapeutic Musicology, Music Business Administration, Music Production & Audio Engineering, Indie Recording Artistry, Instrumentation, Musical Directing, Songwriting, Scriptwriting, and similar disciplines, feature broader curriculum coverage and more complex skill applications. These programs are designed to ensure mastery and, therefore, typically require a three-year duration.
The distinction between two- and three-year programs primarily reflects the estimated time required to complete the full curriculum for each course. Some curricula may extend beyond two years to ensure mastery, while others can be completed within two years. Duration refers to course completion, not a rigid program limit.
