LESSON OVERVIEW
Hello, welcome to the pianoforte fingering training course, PNO 100. This program is designed for beginner pianoforte students, the course and program outline which follows is a product of the ReHearsal House NG department of piano performance and keyboards.
PNO 100 is a core course for the RH program 1 piano performance/keyboard students. The course is a twelve week, beginner experience in pianoforte fingering drills, exercises and techniques.
PNO 100 covers areas such as pianoforte postures, hands placement and finger positioning in the first two weeks of class lessons, alongside other areas including the RH terminologies for fingering exercises and the kinds of and applications of musical note values. Students are encouraged to watch clips of and view photo galleries of professional keyboardists and pianists as well as go through series of photoshoots sessions themselves (the academy organizes photoshoot sessions for students & other musicians)
In the third week, the eight approaches to the fingering training techniques for piano performance and keyboard playing (at the program 1 level) is introduced.
From weeks 4-10 the seven approaches will be studied and applied in both class practice session and solo Rehearsal sessions.
The following approaches to fingering training are covered in the program 1 experience:
Approach 1: The unaided training technique
Approach 2: The natural key approach 1 & 2
Approach 3: The solfa key by key approach
Approach 4: Double note fingering drills
Approach 5: Fingering training for intervals
Approach 6: Fingering drills for triads  
Approach 7: Fingering drills for sus chords
The program 1 Week 11 is generally for program 1 recital dress rehearsals and week 12 for auditions and RECITALS.

ALL MAJORS IN PIANO PERFOMANCE AND KEYBOARDS ARE TO SEE ALSO OTHER CORE AND MANDATORY COURSES OVERVIEW. MINORS ARE TO CONCERN THEMSELVES ONLY WITH RESPECTIVE   ELECTIVE COURSES.

Every Holiday provides another experience for children to involve in greater musical participation at Rehearsal House. This Holiday, only promises to better the rest, yes, you got it right, we just can't stop getting better! From kids age 2 and above, there's something musical for every child! Again Piano Performance is general and this time, we're adding violin among the mandatory lessons for the older kids!
