RH Internship Program Policies
A. Levels Of Internship:
There Are two Levels of Internship in ReHearsal House:
1. IT (Industrial Training): An Official Internship Program for Undergraduate Music Students from any of the Universities, Polytechnics or Colleges of Education within Nigeria.
2. In-House Musicianship: An In-House Internship for Non-IT Students. Music Students from any other Music Academy, or individuals who do not have any formal Music Learning, yet do have some Musical Skills; and are in need of Further Apprenticeship, belong to this category.
B. IT Interns' Policies:
1. The Internship Program for IT is stipulated for 3 - 6 Months; if an IT plan falls outside this range, applicants must submit letter from their departments in school for the same.
2. IT Interns are required to present every relevant information from their Schools- Name, Level, Matriculation Number Information as well as the Attending SIWES Forms (Employers Category).
3. Daily Completion of the Interns Log Book must be overseen weekly by the Internship Program Director.
4. IT Interns Report time to duty is from 8am to 4:30pm, Mondays - Saturdays. The only exception to this schedule is with regards to some Field Ops- where an Intern is assigned to some functions outside the Academy.
5. IT Interns may be assigned Field Ops ranging from Home Services to Schools Services; The Academy also pays stipends for Field Ops assigned outside the Academy.
6. Inappropriate Conducts from IT Interns including insubordination, lateness or failure to report to duties; shall be reported to the SIWES Program coordinator of the defaulting interns' Institution.

C. In-House Interns' Policies:
1. The In-House Internship Program is stipulated for 24 Weeks - 84 Weeks; Subject to review, as new Programs/Courses are included in the Internship Program.
2. In-House Interns Report time to duty is from 8am to 6:00pm, Mondays - Saturdays. Interns are however obliged to, where reasons are provided, take two to three weekdays off, this especially applies to In-House Interns in a Full Time Undergraduate Program. Interns are required to be in the Academy, through the official hours, except those assigned some Field Ops- where assignment is to some functions outside the Academy.
3. Interns may be assigned Field Ops ranging from Home Services to Schools Services; The Academy Field Ops are presented as open bids for Interns having not less than 9 Months left in the program to participate in. After all bid Applications are received, the Applicants are invited to a Virtual Negotiation Room where the For Concluding Negotiations. See Field Ops as well as Link to Bid placement Here
4. It is Mandatory that every Intern reports to the Academy; as a Rule Only those whose Internship Application have been granted, may be assigned any Ops! Interns are thus, mandated to at least one Music House/Band Engagement within the Academy. Saturdays Childhood Musicals as well as the Academy's Holiday Musicals are Mandatory work activities for Musical Interns.
5. Interns may be assigned other functions in various departments of the Academy and Music Company, from time to time as work situation demands.
6. Lateness to Training (classes, workshops, seminars, rehearsals, etc) and work (Field Ops, Academy day to day Ops), shall attract a query! Absence from work, without a 24 hour prior notification, and with no tenable excuses, attracts double queries!! Where offenses resulting into queries are deemed as recurring, the Intern shall be summoned to the Academy's disciplinary (on-site or virtually) committee; the committee shall mete what discipline may be considered fair enough- from fines, suspension or expulsion!
