Keyboard Artistry Course
KEYBOARD ARTISTRY COURSE
Course Introduction:
Keyboard Artistry is a refined creative path under the KEYS Department designed for students whose focus goes beyond performance into expressive and stylistic interpretation, solo artistry, and arrangement on modern keyboard setups. Rooted in House University's long-standing commitment to musical excellence, this course evolved as a response to the rising demand for solo keyboard performers, band keyboardists and live-session arrangers in both gospel and contemporary music settings.
The course builds on fundamental and intermediate keyboard skills, and by Program Level 3, students begin participating in outstation programs, playing for real congregations and live settings. Emphasis is placed on creative arrangement, live band syncing, and artistic presentation. Students are trained to bring depth, originality, and musical intelligence to their performances.
Studio work begins in Level 4 with in-session arrangement practice and recording, progressing toward solo artistry project recordings and recital showcases by the final levels.
