Welcome to the ReHearsal House Internship Program.
At ReHearsal House (RH), we believe that music education should go beyond theory and performance. We believe musicians should be trained to become creators, educators, leaders, performers, innovators and contributors within a real musical ecosystem.
The RH Internship Program is designed as a structured vocational and musical apprenticeship system built on three foundational pillars:
Training. Apprenticeship. Service.
This handbook serves as your introduction into the RH Internship System.
You are not simply enrolling into a program.
You are entering a professional musical development ecosystem where you will:

Entry Into The Internship Program
Step 1 — Application
Applicants are required to:
Pay the Internship Application Fee
Complete the Internship Application Form
Submit required information
Proceed to Interview and Assessment

Step 2 — Interview & Assessment
All applicants undergo an interview and assessment process.
The interview helps RH determine:

Step 3 — Admission & Clearance
Successful applicants proceed to:

Admission & Clearance Fee

Upon successful clearance, applicants officially become RH Interns.
Level 1 Internship Structure
Level 1 is the foundational stage of the RH Internship System.
This level is probationary and developmental.
The focus of Level 1 includes:
Musical development
Discipline
Participation
Operational exposure
Responsibility training
Leadership preparation
Level 1 operates across approximately 16 weeks.
Level 1 Placement Categories
After assessment, interns are placed into one of two categories.
A. Level 1 — Probationary Intern
(Without Work Slot)
This category is for interns who are:
Beginners
Starting with little or no musical experience
Still developing foundational skills
Primary Focus Areas
Class attendance
Workshops
Rehearsals
Internal training sessions
Group learning
Studio exposure
Musical orientation
Support Responsibilities
Interns in this category may:
Assist Unit Managers
Support classroom activities
Participate in projects
Assist with rehearsals
Observe operational systems
This category focuses primarily on growth and preparation.
Direct operational responsibilities are limited at this stage.
B. Level 1 — Probationary Unit Manager
(With Work Slot)
This category is for interns who demonstrate:
Basic musical ability
Learning readiness
Teaching potential
Operational responsibility
These interns are introduced into:

(Artistic & Stage Operations)

RH interns are introduced into a structured posting and assignment system.
Assignments may include:

Childhood Musicals
RH Saturday Program
Childhood Musicals is one of the foundational operational structures within RH.
Many interns begin operational exposure through Childhood Musicals.
Intern Responsibilities May Include
Assisting classroom activities

Practice supervision
As interns grow, responsibilities may increase.
The Band / House System
RH operates a collaborative Band and House developmental structure.
Interns may be assigned into:
