Violin Majors – Course Description

The Violin Majors course at ReHearsal House is a structured diploma program focused on training violinists for artistic, academic, and industry relevance. This course emphasizes practical learning, performance readiness, and creative adaptability—delivered through progressive levels of technical and musical development.


Program Availability:  

-2-Year Diploma– 6 Skill Levels  

-3-Year Advanced Diploma– 9 Skill Levels  


The 2-Year Program offers students in-depth skill acquisition from foundational playing through intermediate-advanced levels, including a compulsory internship, performance project, and recital assessment.


The 3-Year Program provides further immersion into Violin Artistry, Ensemble Direction, and Applied Therapeutic Musicology, preparing students for niche specializations or leadership roles in music.

- Violin Anatomy & Instrument Control  

- Scales, Bowing, and Finger Techniques  

- Solo and Ensemble Performance

- Improvisation and Genre Adaptation  

- Music Theory Application  

- Introduction to Therapeutic Violin Use

- Test of Applied Music (TAM)
